Shipments and returns


Gioielleria Casella offers you a Facilitated Return service in order to simplify the operations of returning items that you are not fully satisfied with. You will be able to decide independently whether to go to one of the GLS offices located in Italy, or request collection directly from your home.

Fundamental conditions for requesting a return are the perfect integrity of the product, its packaging and any tags. We will not be able to accept the return of products that do not comply with these conditions.

How long do I have to return a product?
From the moment the order is delivered, you have 14 days to request the return.

I want to return a product, what should I do?
The first thing to do is to inform us via email, and referring to your order number, that you wish to return the product. Within 24 hours we will provide you with the necessary instructions to manage your case.

If you choose home collection, a courier will collect your return on the date you indicate. If you choose to deliver the package to a collection center, go to the one closest to you.

What if I want to change an item?

If you request an exchange (for example a ring because you have chosen the wrong size), the basic cost is 18 euros and takes into account the home collection service and the new shipment. This cost applies to items with a value of up to 1000 euros. Above this value it is necessary to make an ad hoc quotation (This condition is valid only for purchases in Italy, for purchases from other countries, a special quotation is necessary which will be communicated to the customer at the time of the request). However, the customer can always use his trusted courier to exchange a product and the goods always travel at his own risk.

How is the refund made?
The right of withdrawal is guaranteed in accordance with Legislative Decree 206/2005. As soon as your return package arrives in our boutique, it will be checked. If the products comply with the return conditions, you will receive a refund within 14 calendar days. The refund methods depend on the payment type you chose at the time of payment.

  • Payment via PayPal: the refund will be made directly via PayPal;
  • Payment by Credit Card: the refund is credited only to the card used for the purchase. The refund cannot be made on cards other than those used for the purchase;
  • Payment by bank transfer: in this case you will have to communicate your IBAN details;

Returns management fees (Only for PayPal and Credit Card payments)

In the case of an order return due exclusively to the customer's will (not therefore due to defects or our error in sending the product) , a processing fee equal to 3% of the product value will be retained . This fee applies only to PayPal and credit card payments and is applied even if the product has not yet been shipped.

The service is free?
No, the service is not free but is offered at a flat rate which only covers the costs incurred by us for collecting the package. These costs can be quantified as €15.00 and will be deducted directly from the amount of your refund in the case of orders with amounts lower than €1000. For purchases of a higher amount, up to €2500, the collection costs amount to €80.00 . For amounts exceeding €2500, expenses will be assessed based on the value and place of collection.

The Customer may also use one of his trusted couriers, however, in this case, the package travels at the customer's risk and Gioielleria Casella will not be responsible for any damage or loss.

Costs and conditions of the return service indicated as follows are valid only for purchases on Italian territory. For all other countries, the same conditions for returning or canceling orders apply, but shipping/collection/exchange costs will be assessed depending on the destination.


Which couriers do you use?
For shipments of our items to Italy we use different carriers, depending on the destination and the type of product. Generally for items with amounts up to 1500 Euros we use the express service offered by GLS which delivers in 2/3 working days on the national peninsular territory and 4/5 working days on islands and remote locations.

For particularly precious jewels and watches, the shipment will be carried out with the Ferrari security carrier in order to guarantee the total safety of the goods.

For shipments to Europe and the rest of the world, we use UPS . However, the courier is always chosen in order to guarantee the best possible service in the delivery area.


How much do shipments cost?
For amounts up to 48.99 Euros the cost of shipping to Italy is 10.00 Euros;

For purchases with amounts starting from 49.00 Euros, shipping to Italy is always FREE.

What should I do if delivery is delayed?
The expected delivery date is purely indicative and may vary depending on the destination. However, you will always be provided with a code that allows you to track your shipment and be informed of its delivery.
