In 1978 Tissot created a quartz model, featuring a thin case, narrow indexes and a steel bracelet. Its wide horizontal lug, typical of the time, was perfectly integrated into the flat tonneau-shaped case.
A few years later, Tissot registered the PRX name. "PR" stands for "precise" and "robust". The "X" stands for the Roman numeral ten and the pressure of 10 bar that the watch can withstand.
In 2022 Tissot presented the PRX Chrono , in this modern version with a 42 mm steel case and a white dial with a "panda effect".
