The Seiko 5 collection was born in the 1960s from a simple idea. A watch should ideally perform five essential functions: tell the time, display the date, be waterproof, shock resistant, and have a mechanical movement with manual winding.
This limited-edition Seiko HUF reinterprets the 1970s Seiko Time Sonar model through a collaboration with HUF, a skate brand founded in 2002 by Keith Hufnagel. Based on the Seiko 5 Sports Field series, it features a semi-transparent “HUF Green” dial with the HUF logo at the six o'clock position. The transparent case back, in the same green hue, is decorated with a San Francisco-inspired graphic and engraved with “Limited Edition” and a serial number.
The watch is sold with a special steel box and dedicated cloth.
