Montblanc celebrates Vincent Van Gogh , one of the most famous painters of the 19th century.
This edition recalls the artist’s time in Arles, with decorative details that recall one of his most famous paintings: “Sunflowers” . The barrel is decorated in shades of yellow and orange that evoke the sunny landscapes of Southern France. The upper part is shaped like a pipe head (present in many of his self-portraits) and is filled with precious yellow resin. In homage to Vincent's love of traditional Japanese woodblock prints, the overall shape is inspired by a Japanese carving knife, while the cap is made of wood.
