Montblanc Masters of Art Homage to Vincent van Gogh Limited Edition Fountain Pen

Montblanc celebrates Vincent Van Gogh , one of the most famous painters of the 19th century.

This edition recalls the period the artist spent in Arles, with decorative details that recall one of his most famous paintings: “Sunflowers” . The body is decorated in shades of yellow and orange that evoke the sunny landscapes of Southern France. Its spatula inspired the platinum-finish clip, while its broad brushstrokes are evoked by the yellow lacquer on the top of the cap.

The upper part is shaped like the head of a pipe (present in many of his self-portraits) and is filled with precious yellow resin. In homage to Vincent's love of traditional Japanese woodblock prints, the overall shape is inspired by a Japanese carving knife, while the cap is made of wood.

This Limited Edition is crowned with a Montblanc emblem in yellow precious resin and a hand-crafted solid gold nib.
