The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne 's famous adventure novel.

This Montblanc Classique fountain pen in blue precious resin represents the first part of the journey.

The protagonists travel on a steamship from London to Bombay, crossing the Mediterranean Sea and the Suez Canal. The cap features iconic elements from the novel : sea waves, card suits and a cartridge with a laser engraved drawing of a steamship.

The top of the cap features the embossing of the length of the journey, 18 days London to Bombay and 80 days in total.

To top it all off, a hand-crafted 14K gold rhodium-finish nib , decorated with a hot air balloon and with the start and end dates of the adventurous journey.
