Montblanc 1858 Ice Sea Automatic Date is Montblanc's first sports watch.
The "glacier" motif dial gives the impression of looking into the depths of a glacier and is inspired by the Mer de Glace (Sea of Ice) , the main glacier of the Mont Blanc Massif. Its texture was obtained using the gratté-boisé which makes each piece unique.
It also features a unidirectional two-tone ceramic bezel , an engraved case back and an interchangeable soft rubber strap that is black on the inside and blue coated on the outside.
The timepiece complies with the ISO 6425 standard for diving watches and is water resistant to 300 metres.
