In 1978 Tissot created a quartz model, featuring a thin case, narrow indexes and a steel bracelet. Its wide horizontal handle, typical of the time, was perfectly integrated into the flat tonneau-shaped case.
A few years later, Tissot trademarked the name PRX . “PR” stands for “precise” and “robust.” The "X" stands for the Roman numeral ten and the 10 bar pressure that the watch can withstand.
In 2021 Tissot presented the PRX 40205 , in this modern version with a 35 mm steel case and a light blue dial with a sunburst pattern and silver hands.
Inside beats a Swiss Made quartz heart and is completed by an excellent soft and flexible steel bracelet that transmits extraordinary comfort.
