The Seiko 5 collection was born in the 60s from a simple idea. A watch must ideally perform 5 essential functions: tell the time, display the date, waterproof, shock resistance and must be equipped with a mechanical movement with manual winding.
This model with automatic movement features a 42.5 mm steel case with a water resistance of 100 meters and a unidirectional steel bezel. The black dial features the iconic "Checker Flag" design and features luminescent indexes and a day/date window at the 3 o'clock position. Topped with durable mineral glass, it is complemented by a steel bracelet with folding clasp.
